Hello, I’m Patti.

Photography has always been a passion of mine, igniting a spark of curiosity from a young age. My love of photography began in high school. I took a photography class and got to shoot with a 35mm camera. We developed the photos ourselves in the dark room. I remember how exciting it was to watch the photos come to life as they hung there drying. To this day I still have some of those photos. It’s fascinating to me that photos can capture this brief moment in time and preserve them for a lifetime.

Over the years, I honed my skills, transitioning to a DSLR and exploring various styles, from portraits to landscapes. As I grew older and had children, my experience in photography expanded as I began taking photos of the sports and scouting activities they were involved in. I met new people and made new photography friends which lead to even more experience in different genres. I have done wedding photography, engagement photos, maternity shoots, event photography and modeling photography. Some of my work has even been published in local newspapers and magazines.

My true passion though is nature photography.

I love to take my camera with me whenever I’m out and about in the world. Whether it’s out on a hiking excursion, a day trip to the beach with my kids, traveling to different parts of the world or just walking around the neighborhood. There is beauty everywhere.

Photography has become not just a hobby, but a means of self-expression and a way to connect with the world around me. Each click of the shutter tells a story, preserving memories that might otherwise fade away.
